I am fascinated by marine microbes and how they interact with our world.

I am a postdoctoral investigator at WHOI with Dr. Mak Saito and Dr. Liz Kujawinski. My research integrates physiological and elemental measurements with mass spectrometry-based omics, and aims to connect cellular-scale mechanisms with global biogeochemical processes. Prior to my postdoc, I received my PhD from Dalhousie University under the supervision of Dr. Erin Bertrand.

I embrace an open, collaborative and curiosity-driven approach to science, and enjoy asking questions about the natural world. My past research included work on atmospheric chemistry, fungal endophytes, and insect electrophysiology.
I am always excited to learn, collaborate and chat about science - let's connect!
